REALTOR DAY

Register for REALTOR® Day at the Legislature

Feb. 13, 2009
Salt Palace

Earn three free C.E. credits, enjoy a free lunch and learn about the current legislative bills that affect REALTORS®. This event will also feature speeches from prominent Utah political leaders as well as a networking lunch where you can tell your legislator about the issues that are important to you.

Registration will be available until Feb. 9 or until the event is full. Space is limited so register for free today!

AFFILIATE DUES

Affiliate dues are $300 for 2009 and due January 1 through January 31. There will be a $25 late fee charged after January 31.

NAR and UAR dues – Readerkey leases

NAR/UAR dues and Readerkey leases are due January 1. You can now pay online at www.realtor.org – you will need your NRDS login #.

There will be a late fee of $25 after January 31, 2009.

We will be charging sales tax on the readerkeys. The tax rate is 6.45% and will go up to 6.5% on January 1. If you pay your yearly lease on your readerkey in December, the charge will be $132 for the lease and $8.51 for sales tax for a total of $140.51. The sales tax will go up to $8.58 beginning January 1.

Please note that the NAR/UAR Public Awareness Campaign fees are tax deductible. Of the $80 NAR dues, $26 (30%) is NON-deductible, and of the $115 UAR dues, 4% is NON-deductible.

*** You can pay online with Master Card, Visa or an electronic check. If you would still like to pay by physical check at the Board Office, our office hours are 9:00 - 1:00 or you can drop your check off in the back-door mail slot.

COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS

If you did not have a chance to sign up for committees at the luncheon, it’s not too late!! We have a great group of directors and chairs for each committee and they are looking forward to serving you and serving with you. If you are interested in being on a committee, please RSVP the Board office or contact the director or chair person. (Attached is a list of committees. – If you are unsure of which committees are for Affiliates or Realtors or both, please call or send an email).

Training sessions will last up to three hours.
